At Learn 2 Connect 2 Achieve, I believe every child can become a confident, joyful learner with the right support. I specialize in helping elementary students who have gaps in their foundational skills—things like phonics, fluency, and comprehension—that can make reading and/or math feel frustrating or “too hard.” By meeting each child exactly where they are, using research-based strategies, and creating a calm, encouraging space, I rebuild their foundation step by step. My goal is simple: to help young learners experience real success, grow in confidence, and discover that learning can be both meaningful and fun.

Meet Your Tutor
I’m Denise — a certified EC-6, Science of Teaching Reading, and ESL educator with more than twenty-five years of experience helping young learners grow into confident, capable readers, writers and problem-solvers. After a decade in public education, I retired and now teach Kindergarten at a private classical school in Dallas. I have spent the summer learning more about Classical Education and its benefits through online courses at Classical University.
My passion for early learning inspired me to begin offering in-home tutoring. I have a special heart for emerging readers, especially elementary students who have gaps in foundational skills. Using research-based strategies and a calm, encouraging environment, my goal is to help students rebuild their foundation, experience success, and discover the joy of learning in reading and/or math. This includes guiding them toward meaningful progress in both academics and confidence in their abilities to succeed.

Convenient Online Booking & Payments
Cancellation Policy:
Tutoring sessions are prepaid at the time of booking. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with 24 hours or more notice are eligible for a full refund or may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed sessions and no-shows, are non-refundable.
Sessions that begin late will still end at the originally scheduled time and are not eligible for a partial refund.
